V&H is free but a minimum of $5 per person tab of food/drink is suggested. Rulis' is located at 318 N. Mesa (downtown storefront of the Cortez Building, right across from San Jacinto Park).

About Verse & Harmony
The Genesis: Friday, October 19, 2007. Verse & Harmony was created when a cabal of El Chuco poets were seeking a place to loiter, drink chai tea, and recite our verse. The folks at an eastside coffeehouse agreed to let us try a night of open mic poetry. After a couple of performances, some musicians magically appeared and hung around, adding harmony. Ergo, the fusion of word and sound began. And the rest is history.
